CBN Tekonoloji Anonim Şirketi develops TCMB Döviz Kur. Contact for connection, security and support matters: info@cbntec.com.tr. The portal owner retains responsibility as controller of its CRM records; the app acts on authorized user instructions regarding those records.
1. Information processed
- Calculations: Amounts, currencies and buying/selling choices are processed in the browser. When the deal tab is used, deal data is retrieved from Bitrix24; the app uses the record identifier, title, amount and currency for conversion. Deal records are not persistently stored on the application server.
- Connection and automation: Portal domain and technical identifier, application identifier, administrator status verification, OAuth access/refresh information and synchronization preferences are processed. The server uses an access token to verify authorization. Market installation stores each portal connection and uninstall verification information separately and encrypted on the server. An administrator enables background synchronization separately.
- Operation records: Base currency, rate type, currency codes, previous/new rates and denominations, bulletin date, check times and error status may be retained. The current version keeps the most recent 30 groups of rate changes. The Market version retains technical currency request/response logs, excluding access credentials, for the last 3–4 days. - Support and technical access: Support email addresses and messages, and IP addresses, request times, browser information and access/error logs generated by the hosting layer may be processed. Do not include unnecessary personal or confidential information in support messages.
2. Purposes and legal bases
Information is used to provide the app, verify portal permissions, perform requested conversions and currency updates, maintain security and answer support requests. Where the relevant conditions are met, processing of personal data is based on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, establishment/exercise/defence of rights, and legitimate interests that do not override fundamental rights. Data is collected electronically through the app interface, Bitrix24 API, server access and support correspondence.
3. Providers and disclosure
The application is hosted on Güzel Hosting infrastructure. It communicates with Bitrix24 for portal authorization, CRM operations and OAuth renewal. Public exchange-rate bulletins are obtained from TCMB; CRM records are not sent to TCMB as part of those requests. Hosting and email providers may process technical information necessary to deliver their services. Information is disclosed to public authorities only when required by applicable law. Application data is not sold for advertising.
The countries and data centres used by your Bitrix24 and email services depend on their own service arrangements. The app does not promise that all third-party processing takes place in Türkiye. Where international transfers occur, applicable data protection rules and required transfer mechanisms must be observed.
4. Retention and deletion
Connection information is retained while needed for active automation. Disabling automatic synchronization in the app removes the saved access and refresh tokens. Settings and the limited currency operation history may remain. For Market installations, an authenticated Bitrix24 uninstall notification erases that portal’s server connection, settings and operation records. For the earlier local CBN installation, request deletion at info@cbntec.com.tr. Information no longer needed is deleted; records subject to legal retention obligations are kept separately until those obligations end. Hosting and email records are also subject to the relevant providers' retention processes.
5. Cookies, live support and security
The currency converter does not use its own advertising/analytics cookies or persistent browser storage. Live support runs on a separate page using the Bitrix24 chat widget. That widget may use cookies and browser storage to maintain chat sessions and record visit sources and support interactions. Page addresses, visit information, messages and contact information you provide may be processed in CBN Tech’s Bitrix24 account. The currency app does not pass portal access tokens, CRM records or conversion amounts to the support page. Email support is also available without using live chat. The hosting layer may add technical caching or security cookies, and Bitrix24 manages its own session cookies. Connections use HTTPS. Saved automation credentials are encrypted and kept outside the public web directory. Absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
6. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law, you may ask whether your data is processed, obtain information about processing, its purpose and recipients, request correction, deletion or destruction where the conditions are met, request notification of such actions to recipients, object to an adverse result arising from automated analysis, and seek compensation for unlawful processing. Rights available under other applicable data protection laws remain unaffected.
